We like to thank our Major Sponsors
Hello Supporters of the Els for Autism Canada Vancouver Golf Tournament
Our organizing committee would like to thank all of you for your support and generosity as donors, golfers, sponsors and volunteers during our golf tournament at the Vancouver Golf Club on Monday, September 11th, 2017. Through your participation we had a successful golf tournament that will help support local community organizations as they continue their excellent work with children and young adults on the Autism Spectrum. We had a wonderful day with perfect weather. We were pleased to see how all those that participated enjoyed the golf and the day support in organizing this fine event.
One of the main purposes of the tournament and the Els for Autism organization is to increase local awareness of the needs of children on the Spectrum. We would like to send out a special thank you to Global BC reporter Catherine Urquhart, our excellent MC. Catherine ensured the smooth flow of the evening's events and shared her own personal story about how autism has impacted her family. Thanks as well to our Auctioneers Marco Iannuzzi, Todd Talbot and Mitch Berger.
We could not have done this without the support of our many volunteers including those from PAFN, Canucks Autism Network, Reach and PALS as well as Lisa, Noah, Elaina and Caius Styka.
We would also like to Thank the Vancouver Golf Club who provided a great course to play on and excellent support from Graham Saunders and GM Brent Gough.
We also want to thank the young participants in the GameOn clinic from some of the local BC organizations that support children and families with Autism and Mike Heenan Golf Pro from the Club who did an amazing job with the young participants. These clinics were developed by Ernie Els to expose children on the Autism spectrum to golf.
Last but not least, a huge thank you to Maiya Chan, our photographer for the event. Maiya worked tirelessly capturing many gorgeous photos through the day and into the evening. We'll share the photos soon on our web site.
We want to congratulate all of you for making the tournament a huge success and hope to see you all back for the 2018 edition of the tournament.
